The first few….

… people have expressed an interest, but what’s interesting is that having expressed an interest I haven’t heard any more really. I’m wondering how that fits with the principle of working without contraints?

People in my view like things to kick against - regardless of whether they are rules, guidelines or boundaries. Ceilings both real and perceived will always limit the growth and rise of the company and individuals involved. We can either be a victim of this - or get the dynamite out and blast away any restrictions that prevent us from achieving our dreams. But what are the dreams that make us want to change or break free in the first place?

Many will often prefer to pigeon hole themselves into a category that makes sense, gives them sense of order, makes them feel like they belong to something tangible and real. Do people prefer to be safely contained even though they have not revealed their true potential?

Head of Nothing - with no boundaries, no restrictions could perhaps be likened to someone who is willing to parachute into a deep ravine or cavern and then risk being lost to the human race by getting stuck, disorientated in the huge underground cave systems that can only be accessed by that initial parachute jump.

There are times when we approach something new - we have to take a leap of faith into the unknown or unknowable. Without constraints also equates to - “anything can happen”. You the ‘employer’ and they the ‘head of nothing’ both have to take that leap of faith and be willing to commit to a journey which could land you ……………

So may be they weren’t ready for that? Or was it you that was not quite prepared to ………..?
